Rooted in Ashburn.
Ashburn is more than a place to work. It's a community where technology careers, new opportunities, and everyday life come together.
Ashburn Connected was created to make that connection easier. Whether you're transitioning from the trades into tech, exploring training and certifications, or preparing to move to Northern Virginia, you'll find a practical place to start.
And when the workday ends, there's more to discover. From local restaurants to places to unwind, we're exploring the people and places that make Ashburn feel like home.
Why I Created Ashburn Connected
My journey into technology started in the trades. After years of hands-on work, I discovered that the skills I had built could open doors to a different kind of career. Moving to Ashburn showed me how closely this community is connected to the technology industry.
I created Ashburn Connected to share a practical starting point for others making a similar move—and for anyone new to the area. It's a place to explore tech careers, find trusted learning resources, get oriented in Ashburn, and discover what makes this community worth calling home.
